Stiletto is a Latin dance retreat, originally developed for Women, in the mountains of Asheville NC, formed around the ideals of Mentorship and collaborative learning. We are including a Men’s Intensive on Saturday and Sunday and adding the element of Lead/Follow technique this year. Our Instructors are chosen because they are leaders in their communities and are setting examples on how to work together to create supportive and lasting careers in the Arts. Immerse in Intensive dance training, connect with your peers and mentors, and enjoy an Epic party at the end to apply what you have learned in classes!!  This event will have classes for all levels, whether you have never taken a Salsa class before, or even if you are already semi- professional and want to study in-depth topics. If Salsa is new to you, start with our Beginners Bootcamp on Thursday.  The facility and lodging, Camp Merrimac, will help you relax with stunning mountain and lakeside views…Located just 20 minutes from Asheville, in Black Mountain, the camp is 5 minutes driving to whatever you need in town, but far enough away to feel like a mountain getaway!

STILETTO BEGINNER BOOTCAMP. New to Salsa?? The camp will cover a broad range of topics that will prepare you for most aspects Latin dance. Start with 3 hours of Instruction on Salsa for Beginners, and continue with technique for spinning, timing, partner work, and styling for the rest of the weekend.  Let us know when you register if you are starting with the Beginners Bootcamp. Men and Women are both welcome.  

 MEN’S LEAD TECHNIQUE  INTENSIVE - Saturday and Sunday Only. Take your patterns from Intermediate to Advanced and become the smoothest Lead on the floor. Saturday is Intensive work on Lead Footwork and Timing, Sunday you will work with the Ladies on Lead Follow Technique. ..Salseros, get ready for a weekend of Parties with the best up and coming Salseras…See what they have picked up in classes and how great they spin, style, and follow effortlessly!!

SATURDAY FITNESS CLASS TRACK - Health and Fitness is a lifestyle, and an appealing one for a dancer. If you buy a full pass you may take advantage of these fitness classes. You may also buy a Pass just for the Fitness Program which gets you into all the dance and fitness classes  going on at Stiletto on Saturday September 10th, Saturday lunch, and admission to the Stiletto Mixer Party!!
